- I now work exclusively in large renewable energy Generation Projects but have a strong background in Marine Civils & Diving. Now a Marine Eng Consultant and CDMc on the largest offshore wind projects in the world, London Array, Dogger Bank etc with one a leading Renewables Consultancy, My 30+ years within the Maritime, Marine Civil and Construction industries includes CDM, project management, planning/design of Diving, U/W construction, decommissioning and salvage projects. I have an excellent working knowledge of ports and operations. Also U/Wl salvage and intertidal recovery with over 20 years experience in port maintenance, construction & operations, as well as a good working knowledge vessel operations necessary for offshore construction and support. My maritime experience has included Tug operations/towage & numerous vessel H&S audits and inspections including Lloyds and ABS U/W Surveys. I am one of the lucky few, that has a career that is exciting and extremely varied, and doing what I have a passion for. Not many Photos of the civil engineering side unfortunately. Pictures of concrete & earthworks etc. They are never truly interesting to photograph.
